Rochelle,

I worked 18 years in my husband's construction company and that is how i tore

both rotators-- not from postural issues--

I am in PT and in aquatics , 2 x's a week. I have had 4 so far and exercies that

are to strengthen the hip, back. I am in morbid pain.

The Hydrocodiene takes the edge off. I take prednisone for PMR and cant take

anything much higher than 5-6 mgs.

I m having less hope and then depression sets in.

Dear Annie,

Thanks for the good thoughts.

I wish there was something that could help you. Have you tried physical therapy

again? If you are planning to try to find a PT who evaluates posture. Since

you've had rotator cuff problems that's a sign of impingement from a muscle

imbalance. That's what my rotator cuff tears were from.

It's great that you are still singing. That should be helping you with upper

body posture. when I take deep breaths my upper body completely straightens up.

Take care,

Rochelle

in my lower back and sciatica pain that has me down for 5 weeks now. PMR and

Fibro too and I feel so disabled but I keep on trucking, writing and singing.

helpful, if I could post either ways that people have overcome their neck/back

pain or advice on what not to do when looking for help for their neck/back pain.

So if anyone feels like writing up something, I will be glad to look at it and

consider adding it to my website--if long enough it will get its own page.

been really quiet lately. I remember how helpful it was to me when my neck was a

total mess.  If anyone knows of other good support groups, I'd appreciate if

you'd pass it along to me.
