Guest guest
I have fibromyalgia and osteoporosis(severe)and also other ailments. My question is my whole body is ampliflying like when you hit your funny bone. What does this mean? also I get a pain at the base of skull and it goes up the left side of my head and across my forehed and down into my ears. What does this mean? I do have 2 herinated disc on the right side of my neck. also large annular bungling discs in lower back. alot of pain in my hips. also bones are so brittle that they would snap like twigs(docs words) if I take a fall. Has anyone experienced any of the symptoms that I described above or heard of this? thanks for any info. Wanda Brown > > > >Thank you so much for sharing your story. Guest guest
Hi Wanda, Do you get headaches also? I have very severe migraines and neck pain that I have been getting from the bulging discs in my neck. I also get that entire left side of my head pain and ear pain. I get muscle knots the size of a ping pong ball in my neck and my Dr said those are from my muscles trying to compensate the bad discs. Hope you get some answers! > > I have fibromyalgia and osteoporosis(severe)and also other ailments. > My question is my whole body is ampliflying like when you hit your > funny bone. Guest guest
Ok Wanda. That is what i thought. The ear???? I have had some strange ear symptoms,( in my case my jaw was injured) BUT at times it comes because of my neck. A neck can give titintus symptoms. I have had almost out of this world symptoms, somehow coming maybe from my inner ear because of the neck being so bad. Here are some of the weird things, so you can compare... I have had extra sensory hearing. I could hear something amplified LOUD from across the room. Ear pain pressure, stuffiness, strange neurological things like my Fingernails hurting???( thats a weird one) um... my head would feel like I was on a steep hill(neck). Strange upper body sensations, dizziness. Air pressure stuck in my ears. All kinds of head pains. From up the side of my head to over the eye by the eyebrow.Like a sinus headache (NECK). And I have a bad hip also, lower back problems and a bad neck. I know from all i have learned, it might be the NECK. The neck effecting the ears. Its all very close inside there. The inner ear can do weird things. Fibro????? could be? but i'm not sure. Do any of my symptoms seem like yours? only reason that i know, is i go to the chiro SO much that after 5 years, i can tell a neck can effect my ears. Because after i get adjusted, it's gone. I am like a living documentation (3 times a week) Of the symptoms and the cause. Ears hurt, neck bad. Feel good, neck better that day. Also i have had such off the wall symptoms. seems like yours are kind of strange too? cindy > > > > > > I have fibromyalgia and osteoporosis(severe)and > > also other > > ailments. > > > My question is my whole body is ampliflying like > > when you hit your > > > funny bone. Guest guest
; yes we have similiar symptoms.I havent seen a chiro.Seeing a new doctor since just before Christmas. He has done EMG/nerve conduction study. The results were nerves ok and muscles racked out. That test was done on March 12 and on April 15 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia.May 13 had first B-12 shot.My meds that I am on is Cymbalta,Oysco Vit.D and calcium, Omeprazole,Lyrica 200mg.x3,famotidine(ulcers),Methocarbam(Robaxin)Muscle Relaxant, actonel(osteoporosis). What type of meds are you on? go for second B-12 shot on June 10. my bone density is -3.25 and bones are so brittle that they will break if I have a fall. Guest guest
Wanda, I'm on No medicines. Just a scrid of amitriptyline 10 mg. I know on some of my other chat groups, we discuss fibro alot. Do we have it? don't we have it? does it exist? doesnt it exist? I know fibro also has alot of weird symptoms also.(no good muscles)Sometimes docs will diagnose a person with fibro, just to get rid of us! (problem patients!!LOL) Well you are brittle then!!!. My mother had osteoporis really bad, so i do know a bit about that. Hey tho you are on alot of medicines. cymbalta and lyrica? could be two that may have odd side effects. watch out for those and make sure you read the leaflet. Boy the others i havent heard of. Just make sure you DONT fall. you could break a hip!cindy > > > > > > > > > > I have fibromyalgia and > > osteoporosis(severe)and > > > > also other > > > > ailments. > > > > > My question is my whole body is ampliflying > > like > > > > when you hit your > > > > > funny bone. Guest guest
Hi Wanda, If you have electric flashes of pain going down your back that could be a symptom of spinal cord compression in your neck. I don't know what would cause such pain in your entire body. Pain at the base, sides and top of your head can be a symptom of pinched sensory nerves in the upper neck vertebra. Also pain in those places can be referred pain from arthritic inflammation of the tiny joints (facet joints) in the back part of the upper neck vertebra; this is the kind of pain I have. What does your doctor intend to do about diagnosing your specific problems? Rochelle
Guest guest
Hi Wanda, I see that you are on acid reducers. The best kind of calcium for you would be calcium citrate like Citracal (has D3 too, the best kind of Vit D -- D2 is not as active); a low acid stomach doesn't work well for the absorption of other forms of calcium like calcium carbonate, which needs acid to release the calcium.
