Guest guest
For me Susie it is so important. I was brought up in the Salvation Army and had doctrine rather than God shoved down my throat to the extent that I completely lost interest, sight and belief in God. It's only been recently that I've managed to seperate the doctrine I was brought up with (man-made doctrine - I might add) the reality and acceptance of God. I'm not a Bible-basher but it's like we have a quiet understanding and I know now that without him - I couldn't cope with what has happened these past few years and I certainly couldn't cope with the future. So yes I know I pinched the line from Libby but only because I knew it was true. Love Sue The important thing is never to stop questioning. She was very old and frail but had a 'shine to her being' especially when she spoke to us about her handicaps. Yes she taught herself to speak and speak she did. After her talk she went around to all of girls and placed her hand over our throats and had us say our names, she repeated them to us. To a young girl at that time of my life, who wanted to be a Missionary Nurse, that was almost like meeting Jesus Christ. I had forgotten that the above phrase was part of her talk to us, until I saw it quoted here. It is so so true Susie __________________________________________________
