Guest guest
Have you been checked for bursitis? I have been going through a bout of it and it is extremely painful in the shoulder & arm. When it is acute, I can't lift my arm, sleep or get comfortable except in the tub when it is submerged. Aloha,
Guest guest
I never thought about bursitis...and actually I don't even know what bursitis is. But the pain I have is definitely behind the shoulder blade and my arm isn't affected at all unless I reach for something or lift something heavy...but then it just causes shoot pains behind my shoulder blade and not the shoulder joint or the arm. I hate living without insurance! Tatezi Re: pain behind the shoulderblade > > Have you been checked for bursitis? Guest guest
Hi Tatezi....glad you understood me cuz after I sent the email and read the sent file, I didn't understand what I wrote myself lol. My girlfriend had pleurisy when she was a teenager, she's now 58 and they didn't know much back then LOL, but they thought it was her heart and kept her in the hospital for a long time....she told me today that it took about 3 months to go away. Sure hope yours clears up quicker, I was trying to remember back when I had it and the best I can figure is a month for sure. If you've done the whole dose of antibiotics then that should have cleared up any pneumonia if there was any. I didn't get that. Just pain pain pain. So if those stones work for you....go for it!!! I know that not all medical science is the answer, that's why they call it a medical practice. I just got a CD I ordered written by Bernie Siegal who claims he can get people to cure themselves. It was recommended by someone I respect so who knows? Went to the doc today, got a bit of good news....my tumor marker was a point higher than normal 3 months ago, now it is back to normal *sigh of relief*. These days I'll take what I can as far as good news comes. Now if I could just do something about the night sweats? LOL. There was a sign on the doctors office door about if you think you have SARS, do not enter, go directly to the hospital. Canada will let the devil move here, so I was expecting an outbreak here....but haven't listened to the news lately so will have to do that. One thing at a time. Guest guest
Tatezi, I think if you had pleurisy you would know it....before I got to the clinic, my friend diagnosed me and she was right. The pain would be in your chest, although my shoulder hurt like heck too....but it would be hard to breathe and you'd feel really sick generally....not just pain, but real sick. Hmmmm, you are a tuffie to diagnose. Huggggs Carol Re: pain behind the shoulderblade > > Have you been checked for bursitis? Guest guest
What great news about your tumor marker...I'm so happy for you. I don't know of this Bernie Siegal...let me know what you think of the CD when you get it. And I feel much better knowing we are talking months if this is pluerisy...I'd only heard a couple weeks before which is what had me concerned since I was in my fourth week of this. It's an awful thing...had to take a cat to the vet today and couldn't even carry her in the carrier...had to ask a friend to carry her. Geesh, I hate being helpless. But if I know there is an end to this, I can deal with it. I'd rather live pain free, but I'd rather have it be something like pluerisy than the other options...even if I have to wear rocks taped to my back <g> If you are talking night sweats as in menopause, there are some homeopathic things that help and also some herbs that help. Let me know offlist and I'll send the info tomorrow. Now I'm off to bed...have an interview in the morning ... well, noonish ... and I want to be fresh and not look like something the dog dragged in. <g> Blessings Tatezi Re: pain behind the shoulderblade > > > > > >
