Guest guest
An abscessed tooth needs to see a Dentist. Tooth Infections can travel to and damage the heart. http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Heart-Disease/Re-Tooth-abscess-and-heart-valve-dama\ ge/show/871897?forums=forums However, in the meantime, in an emergency, Try Sensodyne Tooth Paste (or equivalent) original formula (make sure it doesn't contain fluoride). http://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/index.php?topic=19988 Rub it on your gum lines and gums, top and bottom, and all over the tooth that's killing you. Let it sit in your mouth as long as you can stand the saliva accumulating. Spit it out. If still in pain, do it again. Etc. etc. etc. (If pain is severe, it may take a bit to take effect.) For some reason, the pain in one area of the mouth can affect the rest of the nerves in the mouth, so you want to treat the whole mouth, not just the infected area. Also, buy Tea Tree Oil from Wal-Mart (is cheapest there, can be quite expensive for the same stuff elsewhere). Use your finger to rub it all over your gum lines and gums and tooth that is killing you. Let it sit in your mouth as long as possible. Swish it around. Spit it out. Yuck. Redo the Sensodyne. Quit when pain reduces. Do again when pain re-occurs. Don't wait for pain to become intolerable. The pain from the tooth infection can spread to your entire mouth which is why you want to work on entire mouth as well as infected tooth. The Tea Tree Oil will help kill out the infection. SEE THE DENTIST. AnitaW. skrog6969 wrote: > > I have an abscessed tooth. In alot of pain. Should I up my iodine to try and help the anti-biotics? I am taking 37.5 at this time. Guest guest
Which molar is it? Are you are aware of the holistic tooth chart that maps teeth to organs? Re: abcessed tooth Thanks everybody. I couldn't stand the pain and went to the dentist. He drained the abscess, but wants me to come back tomorrow to take off my crown and redo the root canal. A couple people at work are telling me he is not supposed to do anything like that for at least three days because of the bacteria. Plus, I was thinking about getting an implant instead. I know the root canal stuff is bad for you. I would just have it pulled, but I only have two molars on the top and bottom on both sides because my teeth were too big for my mouth. I need to have some to chew with. LOL.
