We do need to inform not only physicians about CMT, but the public in general. Guest guest
Gretchen, I in no way want to appear jocular, but I have to wonder where you get your data. May we see the raw data used? If one assumes that CMT is hereditary, and the total Earth population has increased during the period you mentioned by 27% (Oh Henry Almanac) one has to assume this dramatic increase is do to spontaneous mutations, and everyone should be alarmed by that. (Unless CMT'ers are extremly prolific) Can we see a breakdown by country, to see this anomaly in different area's of the planet? Is your analytical data available to us? Or your source material? Guest guest
Hi Gretchen, Owen here, I have a question. Do you suppose that maybe more people are being diagnosed because more Doctors are becoming aware of CMT? Guest guest
Hi , just THIS statistic ALONE means SOMETHING MUST be done! While I do not have children, knowing you do and many others, this statistic, IF increased, will affect them and we ALL have to work to stop this. ~ Gretchen Mommy2Adam@... wrote: >the fact that in the last 50 years (1951 to 2001) there has been a 62.5% INCREASE in the number of CMT cases alarms me > > :::::::::: THUD::::::::: > I just fainted!
