Foundation fundraiser breaks records The Hepatitis B Foundation's 20th Anniversary Crystal Ball broke records for both attendance and for raising funds to support hepatitis B research. Nearly 260 people attended the May 13 event at the PineCrest Country Club in New Britain Township, raising $95,000 for the Buckingham-based foundation. " Over the last 20 years, we have touched millions of lives and are a beacon of hope around the world for all those affected by this serious liver disease, " said foundation founder Block. " If we go as far in the next 20 years as we've gone in the past 20, the Hepatitis B Foundation will be using its resources to work on something else because we plan to eradicate the hepatitis B virus in our lifetime.
