Guest guest
Thanks, Carol. Too often people condemn us for our pasts and that is so wrong because it is the past that makes us the person we are today. I'm not ashamed that is the path I chose back then, I was a kid and caught up in the times....but I sure wish I could have come through it without this particular battle scar <g> And personally, I don't know one person who hasn't made a bad choice at some time in their lives...in hindsight, I made a lot of choices that weren't so good. But hey, we move forward and leave the past where it belongs....in the past. Off to bed...have a good night everyone.... Tatezi Re: Tatezi Very well stated Tatezi....you really have a way with words. Guest guest
Thanks, Carol. Be thankful that you can at least get the peg intron. I'm really surprised pegasys still hasn't been approved up there...the FDA usually takes much longer than their counterpart in Canada. Off to bed....have a good night everyone... Blessings Tatezi Tatezi I'm going back on treatment without hesitation. And if it doesn't work again this time I'll try and try again. Willem is my inspiration...don't ever give up. Tatezi So sorry to hear this Tats, but glad you can get Pegasys....I wish I could but it hasn't been funded yet here in my province, BC, but pegintron has....so I'll be starting that in a month or so. I laffed when you said how anxious we are to get the poison into us....but that's the way it is. Yes, Willem is my inspiration too, I hear ya girl. Good luck with the tx. Guest guest
Sorry, been fighting puter problems and am gradually getting my puter loaded. New motherboard and wiping my hard drives with all 0s and then low level formatting them seemed to do the trick. Week 4...today is my check up and I had my labs pulled on Friday. Doing fine...no sides other than I seem to tired easier than normal...but that could be the hours I'm working too. Gotta get out the door to work...now that my computer is up and running other than installing apps, I'll be in touch more often. Liefs Tatezi tatezi Hi Tat.How are you doing with the TX.Please let us know.Liefs Willem.

Guest guest
Tammie, Genotype matters a lot when it comes to response rates. I don't know if genotype has anything to do with how you feel...I've never heard or read anything about that. Since diagnosis in 98, I have always kept in mind that whatever I eat, breathe or touch has to be processed by my liver. I've done my best to live a liver healthy life and all the changes that it entailed. I am a 1b and am 54 years young. The most important thing, I think, is that I love life and try to live it to the fullest each day. I count each blessing that comes my way and thank the Great Spirit for sharing that blessing with me. Don't get me wrong, life can knock me down sometimes...it just can't keep me there...guess I should say I won't let it keep me down. Like turtle I pull into my shell until I can regain my balance in this earthwalk...or regenerate myself if that makes more sense. You will be okay...once you reach acceptance all the pieces will fall in place for you. Acceptance is very important, but after learning you have a dis-ease like HCV it can take a long time to come to acceptance. It took over a year for me. Hang in there, Tammie....we are all here to help you through the good times and the rocky times... Blessings Tatezi Re: Tatezi Wow!! It sounds like you are doing wonderfully. Guest guest
Maybe turtle is your totem and it has nothing to do with your thyroid. I believe all animals bring us messages and lessons to learn from life. It didn't take me long to reach acceptance, it just took me, and is still taking me a long time to learn and or relearn my own limitations. The seesaw effect is the most irritating. I am also guilty of overdoing on good days, which probably makes bad days worse. And as we've all mentioned in the past, it takes a lot of patience to keep explaining how you feel when you would prefer not to speak about it much in the first place. Prayer has been a great sustainer for me. Anne
