Guest guest
I would like to know about both of these drugs please keep me posted. Also what was that drug in the last news letter that was being tested regarding irritability. My memory is so bad that not only can I not remember the name of the drug but I cannot find the news letter. As I recall, but could be wrong, one of them was Zyprexa? We found that it is important to give Andy his meds before a scheduled eating time to keep things in better control. So he gets his meds before bkfst and then before the evening snack ritual Rex and the boys share (I can't do that......). Not that it helps everyone, mind you! I don't believe Risperdal on it's own slows metabolism, but if it makes him " druggy, " then that would certainly contribute to a lowered amount of calories burned---as you already know! Boy I wish I knew something great about this to help you! j

I was looking to see whether the drug's approved or not....didn't say in the article. Also, there's a new NON stimulating drug for ADHD coming out this fall too. Maybe some promise for us after all? Guest guest
Have any of you heard of Levovirin, It is an improve version of ribavirin? I was reading the business news and saw it the drug is made by Roche. It should be available in the US soon. The article also said the pegasys with combination copegus prove to be a better treatment. I have not heard of these two drug before levovirin and copegus. I just want to know anyone else had any information on these drugs. The article claims it will stop making ribavirin in the US. Just asking? LaDonna
Guest guest
No, haven't heard of these either, LaDonna, but I'll take this list along with my records with me Friday, to a specialist, at Miami University. My doc here failed to let me know pertinent information about my disease.....ie; I have stage 4 liver disease, with fibroids, along with the cirrhosis. My egd, he said I was fine, and the report showed stage 1 esophogeal varices, and my viral load count after being off tx for 2 months was back up to >18 million. So, I'll be writting on Friday night to let you all know what happened. I am a responder, so I'm hoping the new doc will let me be on some kind of tx. Prayers for all as always, Donna

Guest guest
JJ was on Geodon when it first came out for a while. He isn't now and I can't remember why we took him off. He is on Prozax Weekly for behaviors and Tenex for anxiety.
