The Experience of Living with Hepatitis C

 

Participants Wanted for a Research Study

 

Svetlana Medvinsky, a psychology graduate student, under the supervision

of Louis Moffett, Ph.D., both from Palo Alto University, is conducting a

study to learn about the experiences of persons with hepatitis C.  

Adults (18 to 65 years of age) who have hepatitis C are invited to

participate.     It is hoped that the information learned from this

study can assist health professionals understand individuals’

experiences of living with hepatitis C.   This information may lead to

better services for those who have hepatitis C.  

 

If you choose to participate, you will be asked to provide demographic

information (e.g., age, gender) and fill out three brief questionnaires

that assess various experiences, behaviors, and emotions.   You will be

able to complete the study from your home, or wherever you have internet

access. Your responses will be kept completely confidential and

anonymous.   Participation in this study will take approximately 15-30

minutes.
