Guest guest
Well, how many of you are planning to make the trip to Santa Barbara this summer August 23.2002. I live just 50 miles away so I'll try to be there during the day as long as I have help driving, My daughter is really good about that sort of thing. Even though I have hand controls after a full day it best that I have a driver for the trip home. For those who aren't familiar with S. B. It;s a really beautiful city with lots of Spanish influences, you have the beach with a nice walkway along the strip of beach. There is a fairly large artist display along the walk, Painters, sculptors and just about all the different artists selling their wares. I set up there a few times selling my woodworks. But now it is to difficult without my daughter and grandchildren to help so I limit myself to 3 shows a year. There is also the mountains just a rocks throw from the beach. Many biking areas and bike rentals for those that are able. It really sounds like Gretchen has arranged for a nice informative weekend and also relaxing time. Sure will be nice to meet some of you that we converse with over this support group. I also just got my first AFO for my left leg, and a new one for my right, have to learn how to walk all over again, but am doing great with them. I wonder why I haven't gotten the left one sooner then now. Well, hope to see and talk to some of you face to face. We have a nice Danish town not far from S. B. called Solvang, this is a little tourist town where Gretchen lives and my town Santa is about 25 miles from there. So hope to hear from you and hopefully see as many as possible this summer Stout
