Guest guest
I have been meaning to address this issue for a few weeks now. Yes, I DO plan ahead. I also LIVE in 'today'. What I mean is in the planning ahead, I try not to project outcomes and fears on 'what might be'. I just make the plans, put them on my calendar and so be it. In regards to childhood CMT, besides just being a kid, I had these worries about WHAT WOULD HAPPEN RE CMT and by the time I got to high school I was a wreck. I have a theory that this stress called WORRY aggravated my symptoms then. I was taught by a great 12 step group how important it is for me to live TODAY. Like I think said, enjoy the birds, watch the snow sparkle, etc. Making a nice dinner, just staying in the moment -it keeps me away from negative thoughts, also fear and worry and takes the 'dis' our of 'disease' and just gives me 'ease' where I can live stress-free. My CMT symptoms are better behaved in this situation. I am not perfect at doing this, but try to practice planning ahead AND living in today! Believe me, as insane as this may sound, it gives me great sanity and peace of mind. I'm all for alternate plans and being flexible too! ~ Gretchen Susie Lemin wrote: > I personally make plans ahead of time but always have an alternative plan at hand
