My uncle took oxycontin for CMT pain he was unable to tolerate it he stayed

knocked out all the time , some people can tolerate it and some can`t but

whatever you do , do not crush chew or even bite the oxycontin cause you

will get the full impact of the narcotic and it can cause problems. It is

coated because it is time released.

I might also add, oxycontin is also highly addictive if taken in the wrong

manner. Follow the prescribed dosage.

I to take oxycontin. It made me violently sick for quite a while. If you can

stand the stomach sickness for a while it does subside. I found that it

helped me tremendously even with the sickness. I got use to the narcotic and

now I'm fine as long as I take it with food in my stomach first I eat then

wait for 20 min. That finally did the trick. I have been taking it for about

6-7 years and it takes 50% of my pain away. It was well worth the stomach

ache as nothing else helped me and I was where I couldn't walk at all before

I was put on the oxycontin.

Just have to be patient
