Dear ,

I just want to say thanks so much for responding to my

emails, it has been very nice meeting with everyone

and I appreciate all of the responces I am getting.

Yes, it is very hard to be in active in the army and

having this disease. I am in the process of getting

medically discharged. And it's not that my CO is not

talking to me, it's just they don't understand just

how serious this is for me. He has already

recommended I be discharged, it's just a pain to go

through the process and wait in the meantime.

This is what happened to me the other day...I still

have to do Physical Training (our exercise in the

morning), but I don't really do anything but stretch

and stuff. The whole company was stretching and we

were doing this one exercise called the knee bender

and I usually just " go through " the motions of

everything. I must have been doing a sloppy job

because the commander came up behind me and asked if I

could do the exercise or not. I told him that it did

hurt, because I have weakness in my whole right leg.

He said well do something else then, like the overhead

clap or something. So I said, yes sir. But then,

when he turned to walk away, he mumbled under his

breath " you're an embarrassment to this company " . I

was so upset, I just wanted to tell him what I really

thought, but of course I couldn't so I just ended up

having a crying spell. I can't wait to get out of the

Army. It is very sad, because I didnt want out and

now this has happened. But oh well, right life goes

on!!!

I am stationed at Fort Drum in New York. All of the

snow is a nightmare to trample through in these boots

of mine too! Thank you all for your comments and help.

I would appreciate any advice or comments from anyone

of you. Best wishes, regards,
