Melody,

I know you are very relieved with your test results, but what was the

doctor's diagnosis? I am thankful you have an efficient MDA clinic to go

to, but sometimes the waiting can wear one totally out. Keep us posted.

He believes it is CMT, but of course, there are other types that

can't be tested yet. But soon, he says, so I suppose we'll do it

again sometime.

Thanks for sharing Melody. Does the doctor feel you need AFOs or orthotics?

Just carry on as best as you can.

: I've had AFO's for about 12 years now. I've had good care

from my physiatrist, but wanted to get registered with MDA for the

genetic test, a scooter one day, etc. He thought I have done

remarkably well considering there's no muscle left in my feet and

lower legs. Now that I am home and can manage my fatigue better I'm

doing alright.
