Guest guest
Hello all, I have been WAY to busy with work - many of my dog-patients have had a very hard time with the effects of snow and ice cracking and burning their paws. They are OK and I am taking one week off to watch the Olympics, my partner and I made a deal; every other day on call. OK now, , first of all, welcome to the best sharing group for CMT I have found. I joined because I wanted to stay upbeat, and yet share daily strugles, learn advances in CMT treatment and hear how others with CMT live. OK, Secondly, my brother was drafted in 1969; because he also has CMT, he was classified 4F and to his consternation, could not serve. His CMT like mine isn't too noticeable, except he walks on his toes. We are both much older than you, and still get hurting feet. I use ice frequently to stop the 'burn' that characterizes my hurting feet. Then massage. Then a nap or sleep. I also use orthotics in my shoes which helps tremendously. Good luck with your dilemna in the Army. JJ ____________________________________________________________ woof! woof!
