Guest guest
Thanks for info I have fought this roll within my AFO's for many years. I pad the heck out of them (I guess like making underfoot orthos) and get by but long term problems, pressure on the outside ankle. 3ED pair is more nutral and helps in this respect----my first pair had a pre supination built into them. I can't get people in med community to do what i request,,I demanded on last pair that two people mold me (as aposied to one) and put presure to force my foot into a nurtral position along with ankel + varis (EXTREAM) HEEL. Thanks very much. Rocky------------i need orthos in my AFO's!!!!Glued in to conture to foot and help stop roll!!! beets padding everyday!!!!!!!!! Thankyou Rocky
Guest guest
My problem seems to be that my toes fold under my foot or something like that. Anyway, I trip now instead of turning my ankles as I did 10+ years ago. My walker seems to help balance me but I still walk with a limp and the toes do their own thing. Brand new canvas sports shoes that can be washed to hide my dirty toes LOL. I feel safer with the walker as it is one that as soon as I " fall foward " it brakes and holds me up. The walker also has Bike handle brakes, but I don't like to us them, my short hands has to reach too far to use them and that hurts.. I wouldn't tell my husband that for the world, he just spent $200.00 on the walker I insisted would be the one that would work. ADVISE: RENT FIRST BUY LATER !! see how it works before putting good money into something that you are going to depend on every day.
