Guest guest
Hello all, This thought/saying comes from my favorite poet, Maya Angelou. " I survive and thrive with passion, compassion, humor and some style " . This seems to reflect a great deal about my CMT-life lately - upbeat, too. I have been enjoying planting my spring garden and not using my computer as much. My garden seems to teach me more and more about life's imperfections as they relate to my CMT. To me this is interesting and fun. It also helps me under- stand myself better. Also, Mike, I enjoyed your post about dancing to unwind. I am much older, and have just started a 'body movement' class, tailored on the principles of Qi Gong (hope I got that right) - anyway, slow, rythmic movements - for a new exercise and to keep me flexible in both body and mind. A course was offered at our local Y so I thought I would try something new. New things are fun for me too, even though I do not excel. I just enjoy 'trying' to see what I can do and also I make some new friends. I still swim too; that seems to give me peace; especially if I go late in the day now, the pool isn't busy or noisy. Only thing is the day's 'general fatigue' has already set in so I have had to change my routine and stroke somewhat. Larsa
