Guest guest
Stout - My goodness how in the world could you even tolerate that kind of dosage? Is your pain that severe? My uncle was taking 30mg oxycontin, percocet for breakthrough pain and neurontin he was headed into a coma. Luckily we found him another doctor and he is now on meds he can tolerate and function and drive he is not able to work.
Guest guest
I've been taking 240 mg. of oxycontin now for 6-7 years and function just fine I take care of my 88 year old mother-in-law, drive, and do woodworking, quilt, crochet and help with 7 grandchildren. We all do what we have to do, to keep our lives as normal as possible. If I didn't have the oxycontin I would be in a wheelchair all the time with it I walk sometimes (the rest I have a wheelchair for). I decided a long time ago that I wasn't going to let My RSD or CMT to hinder or stop me from living my life to the fullest, But to do that I need strong Meds. They only take 50% of my pain away I use an H-Wave machine and a tens unit. I'm having Lumbar Blocks to see if they will minimize the rest of the pain. I thank God everyday for my life and family and thank him for letting me be all that I want to be. I have had both RSD and CMT for 16 years.
