Guest guest
How can it help non responders if it is only open to those who are sustained responders and those who responded but relapsed? This is where I'm getting all confused as to the purpose of this new group. My feeling is that by excluding non responders the Hep C community is being separated into those fortunate to have responded while those who have gone through tx and not responded are not welcome. Maybe this isn't your intent, but after reading your several posts, my take is that non-responders don't count in this group (ofcourse, how could they when membership is just for those who have responded whether sustained or relapsed)...that success stories are only to be shared among those who have responded and not with those who need to hear the success to know that if they keep fighting they too might eventually beat this dragon. Just my take and my feelings. Gee, not ever hearing success stories would sure make me want to keep fighting. And it's comforting to know that those who have responded graduate from a general support group to a " special " group where non responders are allowed. Maybe I am misinterpreting your intentions...and it seems I must be since Claudine things it's a good idea. But I'll stay where responders share their success stories with those who haven't started treatment, or those going through treatment, or those who did not respond. Seems to me if we scatter into a bunch of specialized groups that newly diagnosed people will never be able to find a group to help support them in all their needs. Guest guest
Must have missed this message....thank you for opening the archives to the public. That will give those in search of inspiration someplace to read success stories without having to join a list. Have you thought about doing a website to supplement the list? Just a thought since newbies to the web aren't hip to mailing lists...they just search for hep c through a search engine. Using the proper words in your meta tags would generate traffice to the site when people search on hep c. Re: Hep C Free Hall of Fame.. Guest guest
> Must have missed this message....thank you for opening the archives to the > public. Hey Girl, After much deliberating... We opted out of leaving the archives open.. The folks we are interested in posting to our group voiced " strongly " that it needs to have the protection of a members only archive... We have changed the concept a bit... Please let us know what you think of this.... Your strong objections to this group actually is making it stronger...Tatezi, you have very sound objections and it is exactly what we need. Thanks, Anita _______________ Knowledge is power... HepCFreeHallOfFame is a list for folks who have:. HepCFreeHallOfFame 1. Responded and sustained. 2. Responded and relapsed. 3. Did Treatment and Did NOT RESPOND.
Guest guest
This format is much better...no one should be excluded just because they didn't respond or haven't even done treatment yet. We need to be united in all aspects of fighting and living with this dragon. Tatezi Re: Hep C Free Hall of Fame..
