Guest guest
Hello All- Just an FYI... I was rejected for insurance by several carriers and applied for California's High Risk plan (MRMIP) in June of 2001 This week (February of 2002) I was offered coerage. So...it took less than a year for me to get into the program. What amazes me is that in the past decade my doctor's bills for CMT related visits (this includes AFO's) was under $6000 - hardly what I'd call " high risk " . An AIDS patient or person undergoing chemo cost a whole lot more. Sigh... For those interested, the least expensive plan offered is a non-deductible Blue Cross PPO at $260/month. -mari __________________________________________________________ Mari... it rhymes with " Ferrari " and isn't short for anything - it's simply " Mari!
