I also know that if they have tried several pain meds and your pain cannot

be controlled by meds taken by mouth and also considering the severity of

the pain and where it is centered they will use a morophine pump, ask them

to explain why they want to do this

Morophine is used in several different strenghts , my husband has a heart

problem called Aortic Stenosis and he takes MS Contine , time released

morophine, Has the CMT effected your heart in anyway? Most of the time if

your liver is bad they do not want to give you pain meds cause your liver

cannot break it down. As far as the Heart I will have to ask and study more

about it ask your doctor more questions
