Guest guest
AFOs definitely help many CMTers. It depends on your condition, of course, we are all so different. It also depends on having a good fit from the person who makes them. I know of CMTers who are thinner than the people who were found in the Nazi concentration camps after WW II who can't walk any distance. I know of other CMTers who are of average or above weight who are still walking. It's an individual thing, but I can't see that 10 pounds would help if you aren't overweight to begin with. I'd sure check out custom made AFOs, or maybe custom made in-shoe orthotics. Kat Seattle USA

Guest guest
My goof - page 187! Awww...you made and me think back to when he was that little. He's also in the Classroom Language Skills for Children with Down syndrome on pages 3,18,25,42,122,128,177,230,243 and 295. His picture (I only submitted one this time) will be in the new version of Communication Skills for Children with DS (for younger children). In that one, I think he will be wearing a " caboose " hat and bib overalls. I could have sent more, but had all the good baby pictures with her at Virginia Tech.
