Hi Group,

This is one of my Fibro friends. She was made to

feel like she was crazy, till she was sitting next to

me at Dr's office. The indigestion sounds like GERD,

could also be the sharp pains. She is a bit

overweight but far from beng obese. Anyone have any

ideas what all she is getting symptons of? It could

be several.

Connie

Hope you are feeling better. As for me, sometimes I

Hi Connie - you realize, this is just wild guess

work!!! It sounds like she needs to see a GI doctor. I

would look at GERD, ulcers, gallbladder, or

pancreatitis. Those can all cause pains in the chest

area. So can something like ribs getting out of place,

but I don't think that would cause the

burping/indigestion. I don't understand the bit about

she went to a heart doctor and he wouldn't even do a

stress test because she would fail it. If she was that

bad would he just send her home??? What kind of

doctors do yall have there? She just needs to go to a

doctor - one who will REALLY examine her, maybe do

some tests like upper GI, ultrasound, blood tests. She

probably needs to go to Macon too!

Connie,

I dunno that it would necessarily be the fibro and you know, being

overweight isn't the cause of every little thing, tho doctors often tell us

it is. My hepc/fibro was denounced as being overweight, no matter that I had

been pressing 150 three times a week and did Tai Chi regularly. So I hope

she doesn't let it stop her continue seeking for the right answer.

Keep us up to date and hope she finds relief quickly :)
