Guest guest
Hello to . I have recently joined this discussion group. I am 25 and in graduate school, studying forensics, which I hope to pursue as a career. My under graduate work was in anthropology. I am working as a teaching assistant and also part time in the entertainment industry as an 'background extra' for filming. I heard about this group from a friend who is a physical therapist and thought I'd see for myself. I have a limp that is corrected with custom shoes. (one leg IS longer!) I do get tired, but then I am up at 5 am and busy all day so by midnight, I 'crave' sleep! I was diagnosed when I was about 13 with CMT. I was also fatigued greatly in high school, but in college had a better time managing it. I have a bad habit of taking on too much sometimes! I have a variety of interests; the outdoors/camping, anthro digs (Mexico is a favorite) - would love to visit Egypt on a dig; love movies, especially the 50's Westerns, and try to do some swimming a few times a week. Been doing that for several years regularly, and it does help bring me 'down to earth' plus my Dr. and PT said it is about the best I can do for my CMT. Grad school takes up most of my time, but will drop in now and again if I can share something from my experience. Mike
