Guest guest
I have another question, How did humanity survive and increase into such large numbers without the Flu Shot. Oh the horror of not getting a shot with mercury and aluminum ! How many people are on this earth anyway? If these illnesses were such a threat then our population would be much lower dont you think? LOL April Sent: Sunday, October 17, 2004 11:17 AM Subject: Flu shot hysteria > " I'm real concerned, " said , bald from cancer treatments. " I have cancer and I'm taking chemotherapy. It's vital for my immune system that I be inoculated. I don't understand at all how it's gotten to this point. " < This is unbelievable. They have succeeded in brainwashing millions of people! Isn't it true that if she has cancer and is taking chemotherapy that she should NOT have a flu shot? Apparently she was told that she needed one by her doctor, because she said " vital for my immune system " where else would she hear that if not from doctors? Guest guest
It is horrid how terrified people are. They show people on my local news lined up taking numbers to get there shot. There have been people on the news actaully crying they couldnt get the shot. How i wish i could be there to tell them how lucky they truely are to not have gotten it. What has our country come to. There are so many other illnesses out there that have more reason to fear and they have flipped there lid over the flu. Amy

Guest guest
Amen to that! And didn't they finally admit that last year's flu shot wasn't even the strain that was supposedly going around?? People survived then didn't they? Today's paper had all kinds of articles reporting the mass hysteria and which places were out of the flu shots already. Horror of horrors! Maybe people will actually have to become responsible for their own health for once in their lives instead of depending on pills and shots to keep them " well. " Sad thing is, alot of these people who are so fearful of NOT getting the shot will have self fulfilling prophecies. They'll work themselves in such a tizzy that they'll probably get sick from worry. Then it will be blamed on not getting the vax. I think they should give everyone a shot of water and call it a flu shot (placebo effect!) But that would prove the shots are useless, so that won't happen. LOL My mom, who normally doesn't get the flu vax anyway, said her friend that she delivers Meals on Wheels with once a week said they should both get the shot in case they come in contact with someone with the flu as they hand them their meal! Give me a break! Kay (who is sooo ready for Spring already!) I ************ I have another question, How did humanity survive and increase into such large numbers without the Flu Shot. Guest guest
What immune system? She hasn't got one if she's getting chemo! Yes, , brainwashing is the right word. The only question is whether the doctors really believe it or whether they're just totally heartless and want to free up some room on their lists! Guest guest
What annoys me about the whole flu thing is THAT IT'S THE FLU!!! I mean come on people yea it sucks but do they not even see that EVERY year they create a shortage of the shot? Are people too dense to see that? UGHHHHH!!!!! OK now I have vented somewhat. Guest guest
No kidding!! I couldn't believe it, last night we were watching the news when they broke in with a " developing story " about flu shots! They were telling people where they could get them, even sending them to a neigboring state! This is so freakin' ridiculous! Mark my words, soon there will be a vaccine for the common cold and they will try to make everyone terrified of the cold, stating that hundreds of people die each year due to complications from the cold!!! Guest guest
Thanks, Karla. Very interesting indeed. When they want to sell their flu shots, they tell us that getting vaccinated is a Must. When they run out of them, suddenly it isn't as crucial to get vaccinated....And frankly, I think that people under 2 or over 65 are definitely the ones who should *not* get vaccinated.... Guest guest
this may sound like a dumb question, but what is with all these people asking/statingsomething and then indicate 'hummming' after it? is this to indicate that the person is Fiddling (humming) while Rome burns? it seems silly that everyone feels compelledto copy everyone else and hum after their question or statement...is this the next bigfad, like interspersing 'well' into a sentence if you can't make up your mind what wordto use to indicate, well, indecision???????On Aug 3, 2551 BE, at 11:32 AM, karla walsh wrote:Does this sound familiar? Guest guest
If we wanted to I'm sure we could spend a tremendous amount of time criticizing the spelling, grammar and writing-style of just about every post we ever see. I choose to read posts for content that I feel applies to my life and situation and let the rest go. There's so much of value to be learned. I don't see how it's constructive to get bogged down and side-tracked by individual pet-peeves. I'm grateful for all that I've learned from Karla - " hummming " or no hummming.
