Guest guest
Hullo Ann. Not from Texas, but as you may know, TX now has all three exemptions. Here is some info that might be helpful, esp. when transfering schools. If any of them coerse or threaten to deny you, threaten legal action. To many of them buffalo with bad information and wrongful threats. And dont feel like a neglectful parent. It is your right to deny vaccines. If you have previous exemptions for any of your children, befor 2003, they may automatically be grandfathered. Best of luck, if your hub gets the transfer. Guest guest
Dear Ann, you are not a neglectful parent by taking action to protect your child against these unnecessary immunizations! Contact your county Health Department and obtain a "Religious Exemption" form. It costs anywhere from $10 to $25.00 and fill it out and then submit it back to them in person. Once you receive your original exemption "certificate," keep the original and store it in a safe place (NY is currently trying to pass a mandatory law for immunizations-so this may come in handy later-don't lose it) and always allow the schools to make copies of it. Most Health Departments handle the paper work for religious exemptions. By Federal law you are entitled to have your child exempted based on the religion you declare. You do not have to declare verbally or in writing any religion, but if you have to: Scientology and Christian science (2 very separate and different religions) do not condone administering of drugs to the human body...This had worked for our family with no problems here in Nevada.. Hope this helps. HR s Ann Frosch <apiano.88grand@...> wrote: Hi! I noticed that when enrolling your child they mention something about an exemption but that you need to file papers with the state. I don't want to file anything that makes me look like a neglectful parent. I'm an informed parent that has the interests of my two children at heart.Any info would help thanks. Guest guest
I don't know if you really meant to type the word immunizations..but I think it has been discussed earlier in this group.. I believe that Vaccinations is the more correct term for it.. Our bodies DON'T GAIN immunity by taking these vaccines.. The vaccines rather..COMPROMISE our natural ability to become immune to diseases and other bad things for our bodies.. > Hi! Guest guest
Hi Karla, Thank you for your help with this. In doing research to prepare us for the possible move, I did see that Texas has all three exemptions, something that NJ does not. My concern was/is, when researching, there is a form to file with the state(I think -need to double check this one.). I'm a bit leary of filing something that may come back to bite me later on, especially at the state level. I feel as if I am dealing with my pediatrician all over again - when they want you sign that you are refusing a vacc. Again, thank you so much for your help. Everyone has great info to share!! Guest guest
Hullo Ann. You have to get a state form, not a handwritten one. It has to be turned back into the health dept. and copies to give to the school. I know you can download that form from the internet. I dont think there is any cost (not sure tho)/ I dont think there is anything incriminating in the state form, pretty basic. As far as the peds office, the AMA suggests the offices have you sign them, It is not a legal thing, usually office generated. You can refuse to sign them, or even cross out and initial anything on the forms you do not feel comfortable signing. Read you state vac exemption and it will tell you about these bogus office refusal forms. Just more HYPE! Know your rights and you wont feel so intimidated and coerced. Guest guest
Hi HR, Thanks for your response. I am definitely going to keep in the back of my mind the things you mentioned. I may need that for arsenal later. Texas, fortunately has all three exemptions, something that NJ currently does not have and we are fighting very hard to obtain. I guess I am just leary of the fact that, I think - I need to double check this one again, when you file the exemption they require you to file at the state level. Again, I think I may be wrong. This is where I need some Texas folks for clarification. My Texas friends all vacc their kids, so, I'm out-of-luck there for their help. I don't want to sign something at the state level that can be later used against me for whatever crazy reason they decide. Call it paranoid, but I just don't have much faith in the so called " powers- that-be " . In NJ you write a letter and file it with the school at the beginning of the school year. Asking for the exemption from the state sounds like they are trying to keep tabs on you. I appreciate you and the time you took to provide with some great info. Thanks again, Ann > Hi! Guest guest
Ann, Yes, you have to file an exemption with the state every two years. Here is the link to file the exemption online: http://webds.dshs.state.tx.us/immco/affidavit.shtm My wife and I have a one year old and a three year old who are both exempt. The laws are very clear on a parents right to refuse vaccines for their child. Furthermore, CPS cannot open a claim based solely on a parent's refusal to vaccinate. If CPS violates this law, the first time it is a misdemeanor and the second time it is a felony. If you have any problems in Texas, please let me know. Sincerely, ToddDr. Todd M. Guest guest
Dear Karla, My doctorate degree is in chiropractic. My stance on vaccines is that there are absolutely no safe vaccines. The fact that these poisons are injected into our most innocent and purest form of life is nothing less than criminal. Dr. Sherri Tenpenny and I have teamed up. Her new book "Saying No To Vaccines" has just been released. I highly recommend it. http://www.sayingnotovaccines.com/home I have a book on autism which will be released very soon. I feel so firmly about the vaccine issue because of the damage they cause. Meet http://www.whale.to/vaccines/robert.html is just one of the thousands of children damaged each year from vaccines. Pharmaceutical companies put children before profits and I for one will no longer stand for it. Sincerely, Todd Dr. Todd M. Nice to have doctors in the house. What kind of doctor are you? Do you give vaccines? Whether you do or dont, or have or not, what is your clinical stance on vaccines and why. Thanks!
