My first visit to my dr he did more bloodwork and took x-rays of my hands, knees and feet. He also did a physical exam on my joints and checked my movements. He also asked a lot of questions about how I felt, how long did stiffness last, ect. Then he took fluid off my knee and injected cortizone. I originally went to the dr with knee pain that didn't go away after a week. I knee I had osteo in my knees because I saw an ortho in 98 or so. I just wanted a painkiller but I ended up with RA.

Good luck,

Vicki

This is what I heard.. And for $15 a month I can go

To the recreation center and use any of the facilities..

There is a walking machine I cant think of the name of

It that is suppose to be easy on the joints more than a

Treadmill I may try also.. They also have a hot tub..

I see my rheumy next week.. It is a long way but I

Am anxious to see what the first appt will be.. All he

Really has to go on is my blood test I don't know what

He will do first visit.. I have had spinal problems for years

From an auto accident in the 80's but I have had back problems most of my adult life..
