Guest guest
Brain Fog is one of my biggest complaints! before I was diagnosed I spent the summer aching and playing slug. I could barely function. Like you, I went from a book or two a week to barely being able to read kids books. I could not sew anything besides squares. (for a rabid quilter, this is SERIOUS!) Work was a struggle. I swear my IQ went down at least 30 points! I rationalized it in serveral ways: When you are in constant pain, your body has less energy to use for mental efforts. Our sleep patterns are distrubed. Sleep deprivation impacts short term memory. Some of our meds (pain meds, MTX, and even OTC stuff) can impact our fatique levels. More fatique = more brain fog. I am fortunate that I saw an immediate improvement in brain fog when I started humira. CMPete Quilts With Poodle '.....now times are rough and I've got too much STUFF!!' J.D.
