Hello, I am mostly a lurker, but am going to join in on this one. I have 3

pedigree dogs, I feed them an almost raw diet (I do boil a few things, kidneys,

livers, things they wont eat raw),I Do not use pesticides, top spot, heartworm

meds, etc.. I treat them instead with artemesia complex and black walnut oil. I

had all the puppy shots, but havent had any other vacs for 5 years. I cannot

take them to the vet. If I did , he would push for boosters etc. Also I have to

be very careful who I tell that I do not get them vaccinated. Although I have

read that a rabies vax has an 8 to 10 year span. There are things I cannot do

with them. For instance therapy work. Unless they have ALL their shots, they

cannot be used as therapy dogs. I cannot fly them anywhere without proof of

vaccines. I do not regret treating them this way, as on my breed lists I see so

many dogs dying of cancer. Just my 2 cents, T.
