Couldnt that have protected u at your job. when u have i, u can be out i think up to 12 weeks, not even all at once, and it cant effect reviews either. i have a friend who has asthma and she was getting written up even though she was being sent to the emergency room and has years of medical files showing how bad her asthma is. now after her doc and a social worker filled out all the paper work, her employee cant fire her. she is covered. when she works she is the best one at her job, but when she cant breath she doesnt go in, and she is lucky to work in computers where now her employer is going to let her work form home days she cant make it in. because the FMLA policy is supposed to help people with diseases like hep, asthma, diabetes. would look into your job that fired u to see what your rights are. i in massachusettes, but i thougt all usa had FMLA? im not sure. well hang in there and good luck.
