Guest guest
HCV Awareness in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Please help us promote HCV awareness for those who live and work in the Metro New York Tri-State area. Over 80% of the more than 5 million Americans infected with HCV do not know that they are infected. Identifying those at risk for infection is a matter of health urgency. In an effort to raise awareness Status C Unknown provides HCV screenings and consults in corporate health fair environments. Testing is urged and recommended for those at risk. Additionally, materials on virus transmission, HCV risk factors, and Hepatitis A & B immunization literature is provided for all attendees. Typically booth set up is at 10:30 a.m. and fairs end at 2:30 p.m. Lunch is provided. Four hours of your time will raise awareness and help save lives! Please visit http://www.statuscunknown.com/ missionstatement.html for more information on how you can become a Status C Unknown volunteer.
