I'll give Schering a call and see if they have any written info that will be helpful for the grandbrats. You know, the problem we are having now is something that was created by one of the teachers at school. The Big Sis was diagnosed with HCV about a year and a half ago, and the grandkids sorta understood the HCV situation when the Sis explained it to them. However, one of them is currently taking a health class in school, and the teacher has been explaining " all the facts " about the liver and Hepatitis to the kids. Curious as to what the " facts " are? So was I. The teacher explained to the kids that once you got Hepatitis, you die. Maybe you could live for a while, but you then die. End of story. And that's what has the kid hysterical. That, of course, does not jive with what we have explained to the kids, and the particular child that has learned all these new " facts " is now of an opinion that her Grandma and Aunt (that would be the Sis and I) have lied to her all along. I could just about hop on a plane, fly up there and slap the shit out of that teacher! It's a scary world when you have stupid, misinformed teachers out there telling children things that just ain't the truth. At any rate, thanks for the suggestions on resources. Hugs, P.S. Sorry for the delayed thanks. GTE has been up-grading their system, and I haven't had access to the internet or my e-mail account since Thursday evening.
