Guest guest Posted February 2, 2007 Report Share Posted February 2, 2007 My name is Marie and II live in Manassas, VA, have one son who just turned 9 and have been married for 14 years to my high school sweetheart (dated a long time). We have 4 small dogs, all less than 20 lbs each (Shih Tzu, Lhapsa Apso, ish Terrier and a mixed breed terrier). I start on the Enbrel injections today. I hope I don't have any reactions but if I do my husband is home all weekend to help. I also take methotrexate on Saturdays, Fosimax on Sundays, mobic , Flexeril at night, Ultram , Cymbalta , predinsone, Welbutrin and Darvacet as needed. I have had RA for at least 27 years (diagnosed at 15). I also have Fibromyalgia, Trochanteric bursitis, Bursitis in my shoulders, Plantar fasciitis in both heals, Degenerative disk disease in my lower back, Osteoarthritis, Gout during the summer time, Reynard’s phenomenon, Sjogren’s syndrome, mild depression, Pre- diabetes and Hypertension. I was on Remicade for the past year with no success other than itching and bruises. I am hoping that the Enbrel works soon because I HATE THIS ILLNESS.
