I don't know about fatigue but are you taking enough Folic Acid or

Leucovorin with your Methotrexate? These help to reduce side effects. God

bless.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Subject: ? about mtx injections

I have been taking 25 mg by mouth and it is causing me to be sick for a

coupl;e of days. I know the injection won't make me feel sick, but does it

increase the amount of fatigue I will feel after taking it. Mtx pills

caused some fatigue, but will the injections cause more fatigue than the

pills?

Thanks.

Vicki

Hi Vicki, I switched to the injectiable about a year ago. It made it so I could keep taking it. It still makes me a little tired but not like the pills. I felt better all the way around because I didn't have to deal with the stomach problems. I take my shot just befor bed so I sleep though a lot of the side effects. I do still need a nap the next day. I hope switching will make it so you can keep taking your meds. Hope this is of some help. I will keep watching for any more questions you my have. Have a good day. Betty (Mi.)Vicki Hoyt <dvhoyt@...> wrote: I have been taking 25 mg by mouth and it is causing me to be sick for a coupl;e of days.
