Mitral Regurgitation and RA?

At 26 I was diagnosed with moderate RA and I've had the disease for 11

years.

My PCP referred me to a cardiologist to " check everything out " . I had

a stress test back in 2004, and again two weeks ago. My results were

good with the exception of mild mitral regurgitation (which was found

in 2004). I was wondering if anyone else has been diagnosed was this

problem. If yes, was it a result of your RA? I've read some literature

that RA can attack your heart muscle.
