Guest guest
I just received my test results viral load 250,000 Genome 1b What does this mean?
Guest guest
Is your viral load count in IU (international units) or is it a " copy " count. Either way -- this would mean that your viral load is under 1,000,000. Anything under 2,000,000 apparently has a better chance of clearing under the standard of care (interferon/ribavirin). I have genotype 1A and my viral load is 3,240,000 IU's or 8.5 million copies. In theory, you have a better chance of clearing than I do. I would go for the treatment before your baseline grows. Good luck!!
