Hepatitis C Training Workshop:

Alan Franciscus of the Hepatitis C Support Project and the state Department of

Health present a free workshop on Maui from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Kauai

from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Topics on the disease include the liver,

transmission and prevention, symptoms, disease management and treatment. Course

is certified for six hours of Certified Substance Abuse Counselor credits. Call
