Hi ,

I have found that the hot wax helps.

I agree -- hot wax does help. You can do a search of "paraffin baths" on the internet to find out what products are available and the cost The paraffin bath was recommended to me by a hand therapy specialist. You can also use them for your feet.

You know you are right about the dishes and heat. It all depends on my flare. If I just have stiffness heat really helps but if there is any inflammation or redness the heat just seems to make it worse. I used to have a hot tub before I was diagnosed and every time I got in it, I was miserable!! But lately, now that I'm on meds and being treated and not as much inflammation there are times I wish I still had that hot tub. The only downside is it was outside sometimes just not worth going into the weather to enjoy it. So thats when I just take a hot shower or do the dishes LOL. <catdelouise@...> wrote: Thanks for your responses, all. , it is funny that you mention the washing of dishes.
