I think of Ibuprofen as being the best OTC

anti-inflammatory. Taking too much of it for too long can cause stomach

problems so I try to use it only for short times but I don’t hesitate to

use it when I really need to fight inflammation. Prednisone is a stronger

anti-inflammatory but that is a prescription medicine and has its own set of

bad side effects. God bless.

Thank you for your comments on the RF(sed Rate). Will keep you posted

on which med the new Rheumy recommends. I still have three weeks before

that appointment. I take plaquenil and some alleve. Is there

something else I can take until the doctors visit to bring the swollen

finger down and the Pain in the elbow...

Happy Easter to ALL and may the Eater Bunny bring you all RELIEF of all

aches and pains...
