Trying ice or heat depending on the relief you get. Also binding the finger or elbow with an ace bandage and immobilizing it might help you. Ibuprofen is the only this I am taking OTC. I take serrapeptase on occassion but it is expensive. I believe in enzyme therapy and it works on several different levels for me. Three weeks seems like forever when you are in pain. I feel for you.
