Guest guest
I think everyone is affected differently with RA. I have had it for about 7 years and don’t notice any difference in cold or flu severity. In fact, I get sick less often now because I am more careful to take care of myself and wash my hands more often. Perhaps your RA is not being treated aggressively enough and that leaves you more vulnerable to catching an additional illness. Our bodies can only do so much at fighting diseases so if we have one we may be more likely to get a different one also. I hope you find relief. God bless. It seems that a simple head cold has lasted 3 weeks with no relief--and everything hurts. Nurse says that's the way it will be. Dosing up on Vitamin C and constantly downing cold medicine isn't doing the trick. No fever, just nasal & cough. Is it true? Will simple colds always be this bad?
