Guest guest
Several years before I was diagnosed with RA, I noticed that I would feel better drinking non carbonated beverages (sugar free Kool Aid, Crystal Light or iced tea). Although I love Diet Dr Pepper, I try to avoid carbonated beverages when I'm having a flare up because soft drinks contain sodium which aids in fluid retention; in fact diet soft drinks contain more sodium than sugar soft drinks. Guest guest
Pardon me, but I just wanted to say for those who love soft drinks, the only one I've found that doesn't contain any salt at all is Diet Rite. It comes in regular cola, tangerine, cherry and raspberry. I like the cola and cherry best. What's great about this soda is that it's sugar free, calorie free, caffeine free AND salt free. It's the ONLY soda I know that doesn't contain salt and says so right on the carton/can. If anyone finds another brand without salt, please let me know so I can change off occasionally, otherwise Diet Rite is just fine, I love it. So actually all it contains is sugar free carmel flavor and carbonation, hence the "0" everything....lol.
