Hi Bob. It is my understanding that the list moderator has some pretty

severe

CFS symptoms. If she were willing, would you want to moderate? If not, good

luck to you and your wife and please let us know if you find a treatment that

helps.

After all, if Carol gets good info from this lists, posts it on the DFW

website and

you benefit from that, then indirectly this list is still helping you and I

think it would

be a bit selfish not to reciprocate. Good luck.

Hi there,

I wanted to share my experiences with EFT, I was tapping in the night last

night as I couldn't sleep as I had a few decisions to make. So, the past

few days Id tapped on wanting my healing process to slow down a bit so I

could function a bit more than processing thoughts and feelings, and it

has, and then I started really peeling away more of my issues with my

father and how under trying to please him and win his love and realising

how much of my life is still trying to please him.....so yesterday I hit

some big stuff and I thought, gosh, I dont even know who I am and what I

like, so much of my life has been geared up subconsciously to pleasing him,

and each man in my life has added to that pile....

So, yesterday I get 2 phone calls out of the blue about Feng Shui. I said,

nope, not interested at the moment as Im healing, and also I hadn't made my

peace with Feng Shui and how I was taught and where I fitted in. One of

them was to write an article each month for a new magazine. That perked my

interest.

So, mulling it over in the night, I started tapping for my indecision, did

alot of rounds with that.....and how I felt I couldn't work with people if

all I did was transpose my father onto them and have to please them.

Well blow me down if I didn't start writing for an hour a business plan,

and a whole new approach that Id never seen before, on a way to do this

where it was more about who I am now and what I believe and not just about

Feng Shui in the traditional sense.

So I accepted the offer to write the editorial. I feel like since I peeled

myself away from my father and his writing on my walls the Universe has

sprung back into action and its feeling more bountiful.

I just love EFT. Ive never tapped for my indecision or thought process

before, Ive always tapped for my feelings.

Happy Holidays to you too!

Glad to hear about your experience. Interesting you mentioned you've gotten

your hearing down (or is that up?) to 20 DB. When my audiologist tested me

last time for tones, I was hearing tones between 20 and 30 DB. Now it's a

matter of making sense of the sounds.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of listening exercises did you do?

Regards,

Sam

HI Sam,

I just mostly listen to the talk shows on the radio. I am able to

understand 95% of what they say. I'll just keep listening to it I

think that the more I listen and understand the better my hearing

will get. I will be getting some books on tapes to listen to. I have

learned from this forum that people have been getting books on tapes

and they would read along with the tape and try to get the words by

listening and reading at the same time. That's a great way to

practice.

About if your db goes up or down I guess thats like saying your

glass is half full or half empty. I think we both know that 20 to 30

db is much better than 110 db. So it went down in numbers and up in

hearing better I guess. lol

The sounds will always get better and clearer for you Sam. But if

you want to practice listening to words, start with a book tape ok?

Hi Tad,

Listening to books on tape is on my list to start after the New Year's. So

far I've been doing listening exercises where a coworker reads from a list

of words and I try to guess what is read without lipreading. I'm getting

mixed results but I'm noticing that some words that are repeated often

enough stand out so I get them the first time.

That's great Sam. It will get better as time goes on. I think I'm

doing better everytime. You will notice the improvements. Just takes

time that's all. Good luck to you

Hi Tad,

Thanks for your encouragement. Will check out the local library after the

holidays to see if they have books on tape (and the books to go with them!).

Will also see if they have cassette and/or CD.

Hi Alice,

No, I haven't tried the auditory therapy on the website. I actually hooked

up the speakers to my PC for that purpose then realized I'm missing a part.

Will try again after the holidays.

BYE!

[Flu] Moving On

I am moving on to a group that knows what the hell they are talking about and where people aren't so paranoid that they think the government is out to trick them. I suggest some of you get serious psychological counseling. God knows you'll need it when the pandemic actually does come.

Hi Colleen, I am sorry that you are unhappy with our group. As for the

governments, the only ones that I worry about are the totalitarian ones

because there is some evidence that they may indeed be concealing the

presence of human to human transmissible avain flu. If you went back

into our archives, you would find that Connie and I had quite a

discussion about this.

I wonder if you would find the discussion here more to your liking if

you stuck around for a while and got to know people? Lee, Group Owner

Sandy,

I think you are all so blessed to have had this happen

when Bre was with you and had your support--physical,

emotional and spiritual-- to help her see the light

and validate her self worth. I think of my own

misguided relationships when I was grown, far from

home and left to my own innocent devices. Better for

Bre now than later.

We are very blessed to have this happen now at 16, rather than later

when she is in college and older. At church last night the youth

group talked about addictions. How it can be anything that keeps you

from being close to God. Bre said on the way home she was hooked on

the thought of not being alone at all costs, but she isn't alone

because she has God. I almost cried. It is so hard for our kids to

deal with ocd, yet alone controlling people. I think she is actually

a very brave girl!

I think you did the best you can. We all want our kids to live normal lives.

I've missed a few of my dd's friends being manipulative until it had been going

on for a while. Even when it happened in front of me! She wanted a friend so

bad, and I wanted her to have one so bad.

Anyway, this best friend has now moved, and my dd said she knew all along what

was going on. And they did " break up " a few times because my dd wouldn't go

along with her friend's plans (usually being mean to another girl).

We do the best we can do...with a very unusual situation.

It is generally frowned upon in this group to post things that aren't

(in any form) relative to the No Forced Vaccine issue..

This whole thread was generally OT..But relative in the sense that it

entails cancer which is caused by consumed toxins..

Lets get on to sharing info about spreading awareness of the fact

that we are being forced to our deaths by the GOV. via vaccines, and

other toxins around us..

I have decided to stay in this group..(despite the fact that my posts

have become more moderated lately...(sigh)if only to help support the

cause and maybe even impart some of my wisdom based on my experience

And I would like to send out a Kudos to Laurie for her post with her

theory about how toxins latch onto fatty tissues.. I totally agree

with you Laurie.. You said exactly what I wanted to say but didnt

feel it would be to popular of a concept.. I just wanted to send you

out a BIG KUDOS for saying that... Our Naturopath has put us on EFA's

I wouldn't worry too much about the OT posts. As long as they're labeled OT and don't get spiteful I enjoy them. I've found your posts to be helpful and informative, so I'm glad you didn't leave. =) If you don't enjoy a topic, just delete em.
