Guest guest
Thank you Karla. And on your family message, I wrote a heartfelt reply but ate it But I also understand what this is like. All of a sudden, since the time I was in homeopathy school my family is closed-eared about any health advice/help. Even though my mother was miraculously cured of not being able to eat and her lupus (but didn't follow-up long enough), later had pneumonia resolved after every antibiotic on the planet didn't work, then RA as well after much pain...once she got cancer, didn't want to hear a thing and believes there is no cure while in another breath believing in other nonsense/yet homeopathy is wonderful. Did the chemo and got worse of course. On that level it makes no sense. I've had many unusual circumstances of people having an opportunity to heal awful things, some practically given the answer on a silver platter and just didn't want it. After a while you get to know that many people want their suffering and pain, and are not ready to deal with real healing. So in vaccination damage information, the same is true. You have truth, they are not ready to hear it. It would then require real healing to get well, and they just aren't ready yet. Families are complicated, and I believe we have chosen our circumstances on some level. It's whether we take the train out of that rut or not at some point... Then, the consolation is, when you heal yourself enough, these issues can be endured with much more peace, compassion, yet healthy detachment. On the Arnica (a mix of info pieces): Arnica Montana is the first remedy used by homeopaths to heal people affected by shock, trauma or injury to the body, and is as appropriate for a mental, emotional or spiritual shock as much as physical injuries. It soothes pain, reduces swelling and treats/prevents shock. Safe to use as often as necessary. Known for centuries for its mind and body healing properties, Arnica has been harvested from mountain pastures and lowland marshes of Europe and North America. It is renowned for its curative and restorative powers with everything from baldness and impotence to incontinence, cramps, bruises, stress, general soreness, forgetfulness, travel sickness, sleeping problems, gout, rheumatism and emotional problems caused by current or past incidents. Dr. Hahnemann experimented with Arnica on hundreds of subjects in support of this history. Arnica; popular after surgery, childbirth. Anti-inflammatory. fights both the ailment symptoms and the causes. Has avoided steroids (the strong anti-inflammatory) Arnica Gel clinically proven to relieve the symptoms of ostearthritis of the knee, with 76 per cent of patients willing to use the treatment again. Published in Advances in Therapy. Sloan Kettering Mechanism of Action Experimental studies on arnica demonstrated antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, respiratory-stimulant, positive inotropic, and tonus increasing actions. Arnica Gel: traumatic injury, bruises, strained joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, tension backache, concussion, stroke, heart strain and reduces pain and bleeding after surgery. Painful inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, rheumatism, stiff or sore joints. Got Arnica?? Bright wishes, Liz > > Hullo Monika. The herb hasbeen used in folk remedies since the sixteenth century. A NorthAmerican indigenous tribe, the Cataulsa, prepared a tea from arnicaroots to ease back pains. The German writer Goethe credited arnica with saving his life by bringing down a persistent high fever. Arnicapreparations are used extensively in Russia. Folk use there includesexternal treatment of wounds, black eye, sprains, and contusions.Arnica has been used in Russian folk medicine to treat uterine hemorrhage, myocarditis, arteriosclerosis, angina pectoris, cardiacinsufficiency, and in numerous other unproven applications.> Glad Day ~ Karla in IL> http://www.amazondiscovery.com/arnica.htm > http://www.medicinehunter.com/arnica.htm> Get Hotmail on your mobile from Vodafone Try it Now! Guest guest
Hullo Monika. You could look that info up. Or check with a homeopath to see what kinds of application, or what doses might work for those things. To the best of my knowledge, it may work for kitchen burns, and acne scars somewhat. If a scar is there longer than a year, it probably wont work well, or at all. They like to put arnica in a lot of things, with other ingredients, and call them cure-alls, or miracle cures. I would be suspect to many of its claims, but who knows? Be careful what all you put on your skin. Arnica is toted for a thousand medicinal uses and treatments. Buyer beware. But has been scientificially proven to be beneficial for bruises. even after plastic surgery. It is generally cheap, so one could test it out themselves. Might work better for some than others. Same with stretchmarks, It could lessen the appearance of stretch marks. I would stick with the good old coconut oil tho, during pregnancy. Better testimonials with that. I highly doubt that there is an agent out there, creams, oils etc, that will erase stretch marks, Think of them as battle scars, LOL, and be proud of them. Regardless, it is an herbal, and people should have some idea what they are doing, and why they are using it, esp when used as medicines or topicals. It is generally safe tho, with few if any side affects. Glad Day ~ Karla in IL

Guest guest
Scars and stretchmarks are better dealt with using other remedies usually. Many remedies can cover those issues, so it should be individualized - included in constitutional (classical) treatment. There are things like shea cream/butter for stretchmarks and probably some herbals. Juicing can help the skin in great ways, one is to become more resilient again, and there is a product I use that nourishes the skin from within. Be well Liz > > > > > > Hullo Monika. Guest guest
I'm very intereted in all this information about Arnica. As far as scars of any sort, I've used Vitamin E for years; opening softgels, squeezing out the contents, and working it into the area affected. Scars are smaller and far less noticable. ~~Ruth Re: OT ~ Arnica Scars and stretchmarks are better dealt with using other remediesusually. Guest guest
Stretch marks and scars: a stick of old fashioned 100% Cocoa Butter is about 1.50 at your local Walgreens or pharmacy. Works great to heal fresh wounds, not sure about older injuries, though. Liora in Beijing

Guest guest
Yes, vitamin e for scars and cocoa butter more for stretch marks. Arnica has many uses, but aside from acute first-aid/trauma/shock it's best to get a constitutional evaluation done.
