Guest guest
, many churches or faith-based groups have support groups that would welcome you. Also your local hospital may have a social services department that could put you in contact with an appropriate local support group. Your city, county, or state social services agencies may be able to suggest support groups. Please don’t give up. Meeting in person would be better than a support group but you can get what support we can give by coming here. I hope you start feeling better. God bless. Guest guest
, What a blessing you have your little dog. We lost our little dog whose name was Basil back in March. He was a West Highland White Terrier, aged 12 years and he had cancer. I was traumatised by this and of course because I was so low and stressed had a massive flare of the RA. I am feeling a bit better now and have decided that we shall get another and we are currently trying to find the right puppy. It will be wonderful to get one again to love and cuddle and be part of our family, and I am sure that it really does help having a pet when you have a chronic illness like RA because it helps you to absorb some of your pain when you have an animal to care for and love. God bless you and your dog !! - Lynda Marika <tobytoby99350@...> wrote: > >> > i have RA for the past 16 years now, the first 10 years i had a job, > > that was so hard on my joints, sometimes i came home crying because i > > was in so much pain.> > I have ben taking Methotraxate for about 6 yrs, and it was the best > > medication, at all had no side effects whatsoever, but i think the > > medicine is wearing off, because i have so much flareups now.> > In 2007 bevore christmas i was put on Orencia, got preasurred in ,> > Had so many side effcts, but the Dr just ignored them all untill right > > before christmas i had to go to the hospithal 2x with Pneumonia,> > the problems i had, was with my knees, she told me the medication would > > help, what it did not at all it just got worse, But you never complain > > to a Dr, because the know it all.
