She probably already has boots to keep her feet warm and dry in cold, damp weather.....and even gloves. Those would be useful in NC winters, too. I live in Florida and I know humid weather.....but it's not the humidity that bothers me.....it's the barometric pressure bouncing when storm fronts move through. But if that would bother her, it would probably bother her in PA too....... Devchuckie wrote: and two.. how long can she stay employed as a secretary if her hands continue to hurt all the time. It's a Microsoft Natural, it says in the documentation, and is set on a slant I can adjust, is slightly curved.....that is....it's higher in the middle and lower on either end.....and the letters are split and set at a bit of an angle....like you put a wedge between B and N, up to 6 and 7...wider at the bottom...oh, I can't describe it....but I can't operate a straight keyboard anymore because my wrists don't flex right to do that..........but if she has to type a lot, no matter whether she takes the new job or not, check out different keyboards. Makes a lot of difference. Ardy
Guest guest
I am still working full time, as a high school secretary. I was dx. in '92. The pain made it very difficult for me to hold a pen and write a message. I bought BIG FAT pens and pencils, and actually found it easier to type out a message rather than hand-write one. gentle hugs!
