Newbie with A Question... North vs South?

Hi there, I just joined as I am doing some research for my wife. She

has RA and had wrist surgery done about 10 years ago. Lately she has

been in a lot of pain...some swelling..mostly just aches....the other

day she said it felt like something eating away at her wrist.

She has recently been offered a promotion as a secretary to her

companies president...located in Charlotte NC.. currently we live in

PA. The changing seasons don't bother her too bad.. but we are

considering not relocating for two reasons... One.. Will her RA be

worse in the humid south and two.. how long can she stay employed as a

secretary if her hands continue to hurt all the time.

She will be 50 next year.
