Gardasil and other HPV Vaccines

Hi, I heard it said in the news that 35 million have been safely vaccinated with HPV shots. That sounds awfully high. It appears that the number is Worldwide statistics rather than US and maybe Canada. Are the adverse effects primarily here but they water it down by citing global stats? These shots have only been given for approx 3 years.  Could the pharma companies be held accountable for the 35 million,  with- where and when information. Could they prove that the girls had no serious side effects? I heard a long time ago that many died in places like Australia before it was approved here- but I am not sure. Thanks, Shell
