Guest guest
General information about RA http://www.arc.org.uk/about_arth/booklets/6033/6033.htm First Visit to Rheumatologist http://arthritis.about.com/cs/docpad/a/rheumatologist.htm Spoon Theory – explaining RA to others http://www.butyoudontlooksick.com/spoons.htm The three links above can be useful to people new to RA and perhaps you will get something from them. The first one is a good compromise between the amount of information and being easy to read. The second helps with preparing for visits to the doctor. The third is a way of understanding RA and explaining it to others. I hope you are getting effective treatment for your RA and your pains will soon lessen. God bless. Hello, My name is Sherry and I just found out I have rheumatoid arthritis. I have been in so much pain for the last 7 years, went to doctor after doctor, they all just would tell me I was just getting to that age, I was only 40, in my mind I was still young. My family just thought I was a cry baby, they didn't believe and my doctors didn't seem to either. I finally found a female doctor who took me to heart, sent me for test and found the problem. I thank God every day for her caring heart and her knowledge. Now that I know I am not crazy and I know the pain isn't all in my head, I can now focus on what I need to do next. Learn as much as I can and work on getting better. Any thing you all can tell me would help.
